Happy New Year!


It's been a while since I last posted, but it's a new year and maybe I can stick with it this time. :) We'll see how it goes.I lost 25 pounds in 2012 and I feel so much better thanks to clean eating!


What I'm doing now:
  • I'm actively searching for a job.
  • I'm patiently waiting on classes to start in a couple of weeks.
  • I'm going back to eating clean after a two week break for the holidays.
  • I'm doing the green smoothie challenge. (Love 'em, but I get so tired of washing the blender!)
  • I'm doing a push-up challenge. (The desk kind for now.)
  • I'm doing a burpees challenge. (I really suck at these.)
  • I'm doing a squat challenge. (Love 'em! They make me feel strong!)
 
I'm finally getting back into the swing of things after the holiday break. I slacked off on my workouts, but I'm slowly making myself get back in gear. We've all decided that from now on we're having healthier holiday meals. I really thought I would enjoy eating all the fatty, high carb crap we used to eat, but boy was I wrong! I really did enjoy all the baking again (that's something I really miss), but I had a problem with the chocolate chip cookies - I could not pass them up!
